CAO Lei graduated from East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL). He is the Ph.D. candidate in Law (L.L.D.) in University of Montreal.
CAO Lei specialize in financial law, specifically focusing on topic of Securitization Regulation in China. He is working under the supervision of Professor Stéphane Rousseau. His research provides a comprehensive comparison of securitization regulation between China and North America. Additional, an economic analysis of Chinese securitization regulation is highlighted in his research.
