Léonid Sirota

Leonid is a JSD student from Canada. After graduating with a BCL/LLB (Hons.) from McGill University’s Faculty of Law in 2009, he clerked for Justice Danièle Tremblay-Lamer of the Federal Court of Canada. He graduated with an LLM in Legal Theory from the NYU School of Law in 2011. He is interested in constitutional law, legal theory, and political philosophy. His JSD research project will explore the legitimacy of the judicial role in the creation of law in democratic polities.
